'Condition of "dwelling" and hence ultimately of
"being" can only take place in a domain
that is clearly bounded'
PRIVATE
PUBLIC
The final model will contradict the opinion of Kenneth Frampton that private and public space must be clearly bounded, these boundaries
can exist in a more fluid form.

PUBLIC POOL
The original Cape Coral Yacht Club was essentially the only centre for community before it was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The building was host to activities and public gatherings that were a centrepiece in holding the community together, now that it is no longer accessible it is important that the community still have access to these facilities and connection to the community which is a key aspect of the redevelopment. However Yacht Clubs as a whole represent a problematic image of superiority and discrimination which is why the new development will encapsulate the uses of a yacht but in a more inclusive and supportive environment.
